The Consequence of the Spark

This protest artwork was created outdoors, in darkness, under ultraviolet (UV) light during a series of loud fireworks displays. As a resident of The Cotswolds, UK, the artist produced this work to silently rebel against the noise that terrifies local wildlife, including foxes, badgers, and highland cows.

The art is a silent act of solidarity, offering a peaceful alternative to the disruptive noise.

The piece utilizes neon colors that shine tremendously under UV light, creating a glowing, intense spectacle designed to be a controlled, harmonious "burst" that protests the violent nature of fireworks.

It is resistance made visible, amplifying the silent suffering of the natural world.
